This type of waste is similar to urban waste and can be disposed of in municipal waste centers (category 1 landlls) without
posing an increased threat to humans and the environment.
Act to ensure maximum environmental protection.
They are special waste and must be disposed of in accordance with applicable laws.
During the processing (cleaning and polishing) heavy metals are deposited in the electrolytic solutions used: therefore used
liquids are to be considered special waste and must be disposed of according to the laws in force in the country of use.

They are to be considered special waste, to be scrapped according to type. With reference to Directive EC-
2002/96 on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), the user, when disposing of material, must
separate the electrical and electronic components and dispose of them in appropriate authorised collection
centres, or return them to the seller with the product still installed.
Failure to collect electrolyte solutions, as well as their accidental leakage from the appliance, can lead to potential
negative environmental and health impacts.
The workstation must always be equipped with a system for collecting acid solutions.
Handle the torch and other accessories carefully so as to prevent the electrolytes from dripping out of the area
served by the acid collection devices.
Please follow the instructions in this chapter in order to minimise the environmental impact associated with the
use of this appliance.
