2.5.2 Transmit optical output
The maximum transmit optical output of an ONT is +9 dBm.
2.5.3 Normal laser operation
In normal operation, fiber cable laser radiation is always off until it receives signal from the line
terminal card.
Eyes can be damaged when they exposed to a laser beam. Operating personnel must observe the
instructions on the laser explanatory label before plugging in the optical module.
