5.7.2.2 Sorting with active Money Controls 8-way manifold
For applications which require 8-fold sorting it is
possible to mount a Money Controls 8-way manifold
below the coin validator in the vending machine
(cf.
Chap. 10.3.2 Manifolds/sorters, p. 52)
. This active 8-way
sorter splits up the four sorting chutes of the coin
validator into pairs of two each.
Which coin is sorted into which of the up to eight
chutes is determined by customized factory
programming.
The following table shows which manifold chute
corresponds to which coin validator chute:
