7. Attach the 30 cm

(30 ml) syringe to the injection tube’s air/water channel
port (see Figure 9.19).
8. Inject 150 cm
3
(150 ml) of detergent solution into the air/water channel and
the balloon channel.
9. Detach the channel plug, the cleaning adapter for instrument channel port
and injection tube from the endoscope, and leave all items immersed.
