• This instrument includes a memory function for the intensity
mode, which stores the intensity setting being used when the
light source is turned OFF. Therefore, the user may start the
next operation with the same setting used when the light
source was turned OFF.
• The default setting of this function is normal intensity.
5.2 Power supply and igniting the lamp
When turning ON the light source, never to allow the distal
end of an endoscope to come in contact with patient,
operating room drapes, and/or other flammable material.
Patient injury and/or fire can result.
Turn the light source ON and connect the endoscope to the output connector on
the front panel (see Figure 5.1).
