5.4 After use
Do not bring the distal end of a fiberscope, videoscope, rigid
scope or light guide cable in contact with a human body or a
flammable object such as an operating room drape.
Otherwise, the light may cause burns to the body or burn the
flammable object.
1. Turn the light source OFF.
Do not touch the light guide of the endoscope connector
immediately after removing it from the light source because it
is extremely hot. Operator and/or patient injury can result.
2. Disconnect the light guide cable, fiberscope or videoscope from the output
connector of the light source.
3. If the light source will not be used for an extended period of time, disconnect
the power cord.
