  If the Omicron Test Equipment CMC 356 displays a warning about a broken ground connection, it means the ground-wire connection is faulty or the test set is powered by an earth-free power supply. Never connect the CMC 356 to an isolating transformer. You should check the ground connection and ground the housing of the test set separately using the PE connection socket on the back panel.

  If the power switch on your CMC 356 Omicron Test Equipment doesn't light up, it could be due to a lack of power to the test set, a blown fuse, or a malfunction of internal components. First, ensure the power supply provides power to the test set. Then, unplug the power cord and replace the fuse with one of the following type: T 12.5 AH 250 V (5 x 20 mm).
