Connecting Communications Cables to General-purpose Slaves Section 4-2

4-2-2 Connecting Communications Cables to the Nodes
Align the node connector with the cable connector and fully insert the project-
ing part of the cable connector into the node connector. Depending on the
type of Slave used, the connectors are secured with screws or a connector
band, or there is no component for securing the connectors. Always fix
securely those connectors that can be secured.
Securing Slave Connectors with Screws
Tighten the screws fixing the connectors to a torque of 0.25 to 0.3 Nm.
Securing Slave Connectors with Connector Bands
Use the following procedure to secure connectors with connector bands.
