written to only by using a Programming
Device. Reading is possible using either

This area is used to make initial settings
for the functions of the Customizable
Counter Unit on a software level. When
the power is turned OFF or the operating
mode is switched, the settings are held.
Writing is not possible using instructions.
It is possible only by using a
Programming Device. Reading is
possible using either instructions or a
Programming Device.
