2.1 Safety Precautions
This section describes the safety precautions.
2.1.1 General Safety Precautions
The following are the general safety precautions:
The equipment should be used in a restricted access location only.
No internal settings, adjustments, maintenance, and repairs may be
performed by the operator or the user; such activities may be performed only
by skilled service personnel who are aware of the hazards involved.
Always observe standard safety precautions during installation, operation,
and maintenance of this product.
2.1.2 Laser Safety Statutory Warning and Operating
Precautions
All personnel involved in equipment installation, operation, and maintenance
must be aware that the laser radiation is invisible. Therefore, the personnel must
strictly observe the applicable safety precautions and, in particular, must avoid
looking straight into optical connectors, either directly or using optical
instruments.
In addition to the general precautions described in this section, be sure to
observe the following warnings when operating a product equipped with a laser
device. Failure to observe these warnings could result in fire, bodily injury, and
damage to the equipment.

ARNING: To reduce the risk of exposure to hazardous radiation:
Do not try to open the enclosure. There are no user serviceable components
inside.
Do not operate controls, make adjustments, or perform procedures to the
laser device other than those specified herein.
Allow only authorized service technicians to repair the unit.
