10.4.2 Types of Pulse Output Method and Operation Modes
Clockwise/counter-clockwise output method
Control is carried out using two
pulses: a forward rotation pulse and a
reverse rotation pulse.
Pulse/direction output method (forward: OFF/reverse: ON)
Control is carried out using one pulse
output to specify the speed and
another to specify the direction of
rotation with on/off signals. In this
mode, forward rotation is carried out
when the rotation direction signal is
OFF.
Pulse/direction output method (forward: ON/reverse: OFF)
Control is carried out using one pulse
output to specify the speed and
another to specify the direction of
rotation with on/off signals. In this
mode, forward rotation is carried out
when the rotation direction signal is
ON.
Note:
The output signals are the numbers on the pulse I/O cassette.
When executing the pulse output, only pulses are output. The output memory Y100, Y200 and Y201is
not output.
