10.2 Replacing the Ink Cartridge
10.2.1 How to Remove the Ink Cartridge
1. Open the imprinter door

• When removing the ink cartridge from the pre-imprinter, refer to "6.5.1.1 When installing/uninstalling
the imprinter unit and ink cartridge" (page 35).
• When removing the ink cartridge from the post-imprinter, refer to "6.5.2 Opening the post-imprinter
door" (page 38).
2. Move the carriage to the ink cartridge exchange position.
• For the exchange position, see the label on the scanner (page 83).
3. Pinch the ink cartridge adjustment lever ( ) and lift it.

4. Remove the ink cartridge ( ).
