Chapter 5Operations — Memory Viewer function
106 - ENGLISH
Direct playback
Still image/movie les in the specied folders of the SD card can be played back by pressing the number (<1> -
<6>) buttons on the remote control. This operation is referred to as direct playback.
Also, when operating by a browser remote control of Wireless Manager ME6.3, les can be played back directly
by pressing the number (<0> - <9>) buttons.
Saving les for direct playback
To perform direct playback, still image/movie les must be saved in the specied folders in advance. Saving
destinations of les are the folders in the root directory (top-most directory) of the SD card. Name the folders (4
characters in single byte) corresponding to the number (<1> - <6>) buttons on the remote control or the number
(<0> - <9>) buttons on the browser remote control, as indicated in the following table. If the folder name is
different, direct playback cannot be performed.

2) Set the [SETUP] menu [DIRECT PLAY SETTING] (x page 74) to [MEMORY VIEWER].
3) Press the <MEMORY VIEWER> button.
f The Memory Viewer screen (thumbnail or list view) is displayed.
4) Press the number (<1> - <6>) buttons on the remote control.
f Still image/movie les in the folder corresponding to the number (<1> - <6>) buttons on the remote control
or the number (<0> - <9>) buttons on the browser remote control are played back in the full-screen display.
Note
f When the selected input is not [MEMORY VIEWER], direct play of the Memory Viewer function will not be started.
f If the [MEMORY VIEWER] menu [AUTOPLAY] (x page 68) is set to [ON], still image/movie les in the folder corresponding to the
number button are played back in the order set in [MEMORY VIEWER] [SORT] (x page 68).
f If the [MEMORY VIEWER] menu [AUTOPLAY] (x page 68) is set to [OFF], among still image/movie les in the folder corresponding to
the number button, the rst le in the order set in [MEMORY VIEWER] [SORT] (x page 68) is played back.
f If the number (<1> - <6>) buttons on the remote control are pressed during playback in the full-screen display, current playback stops and
the still image/movie les in the folder corresponding to the newly pressed number button are played back.
f Even while the Memory Viewer screen (thumbnail or list view) is displayed or the le is played back in full-screen view, direct playback
cannot be performed if the on-screen menu (menu screen) is displayed.
f Even when the number (<1> - <6>) buttons on the remote control are pressed, the operation is disabled if the folder corresponding to the
pressed number button does not exist or if the les that can be played back with the Memory Viewer are not saved.
