4.6.2. Brine line connection
NOTE
The brine line is internal and is already connected.
4.6.3. Overflow line connection
In the event of a malfunction, the brine tank overflow fitting will direct “overflow” to the drain instead
of spilling on the floor. This fitting should be at the back of the cabinet.
To connect the overflow line, locate the barbed elbow at the back of the cabinet and connect a ½"
tubing (not supplied) from the elbow to the drain.
Do not elevate overflow higher than overflow fitting.
Do not tie into drain line of softener. Overflow line must be a direct, separate line from overflow fitting
to drain, sewer or tub. Allow an air gap as per drain line instructions.
CAUTION
Floor drain is always recommended to avoid flooding in case of overflow.
