Ultrasound Transmission Gels
For proper transmission of the acoustic beam, use the ultrasound transmission gel supplied by
or recommended by Philips, or another glycol-, glycerol-, or water-based acoustic coupling
medium.
CAUTION
Do not use lotion-based products or gels that contain mineral oil. Such products may
damage the transducer and void the warranty.
CAUTION
Do not use hand sanitizing gels.
