Alarm Functions
When an
Alarm
Occurs
The alarm messages appear across the top of the screen. You need to
identify the alarm and act appropriately, according to the cause of the
alarm.
• Identify which monitor is in alarm.
• Check the patient's condition.
• Identify the cause of the alarm.
• Silence the alarm, if necessary.
• When alarm condition is eliminated check that the alarm has reset.
You will find the alarm messages for the individual parameters in the
appropriate parameter sections of the Manual.
