228CFX - PianoCD - iQ
RESTORE ALL IQ SYSTEM SETTINGS TO FACTORY DEFAULT VALUES. The
iQ system gives you the option of simultaneously restoring all system settings
(Sync, Level or Learn) to their factory default values. (
Note: Pedal adjustments
are excluded from this operation.)
To restore all iQ system settings to factory default:
1. Enter the
Clear All
mode by rotating the Select wheel (+) or (-) until the Sync LED is
illuminated.
2. Within three (3) seconds:
Push in and hold the Reset button. (Use a paper clip or sharp tipped device.)
Then, push in and release the Select wheel. (Make sure you’re still holding the Reset
button.)
•The Status LED is illuminated.
3. Release the Reset button and the Sync LED begins to blink.
•The Sync LED continues blinking and the Status LED remains lit until the system
clears all Sync, Level and Learn values.
•When the Sync LED stops blinking, iQ has returned to normal operation. Sync, Level
and Learn values are restored to factory default.

IP - Installing iQ as an Opus7 Accessory
To install an iQ control box as an accessory within an Opus7 system, you must restore all
of iQs system settings to factory default prior to installation. Then:
Configure Opus7. (See the Opus7 Installation Guide for instructions.)
Use the break-out cable to connect the SilentDrive’s MIDI In port to iQ’s MIDI Out
port.
Match iQs internal volume level with the volume level of the media player. (See Level
Adjust Mode section for instructions.)
NOTE: Do not learn the piano or adjust pedal settings through iQs adjustment modes.
Access Opus7’s Backstage features to adjust piano settings.
