Manage Far-End Video Display
Adjust video settings to control the appearance of video received from the far-end.
1. Go to Settings > Basic > Video.
2. Select Video Screen Mode.
3. Choose one of the following video screen settings.
Normal - The video image displays with correct proportions. Black bars appear on the top,
bottom, or sides of the area to maintain the correct aspect ratio if the aspect ratio of the
received video does not match the display area. The portions of the video that are not being
received display as black bars.
Full - If the received video image is not the same aspect ratio as the display area, the video
image is stretched to fill the area. If the aspect ratios match, no stretching occurs.
Crop - The video image is resized to maintain the correct aspect ratio. Any parts of the image
that do not fit within the display area are cropped.
4. Tap Save.
Manage Camera Tracking
Users can modify the camera tracking settings on the Polycom Trio system. Tracking is available only
when using the Polycom
®
EagleEye™ Director II camera or Polycom
®
EagleEye™ Producer camera.
During a call:
1. Select Camera , or Tap Menu and select Camera.
2. Tap Settings
to access Camera Preferences.
3. Do one of the following:
Turn Camera Tracking On or Off.
Select a Tracking Mode: Frame Speaker, Frame Group, or Frame Group with Transition
(available only with an EagleEye Producer camera).
Adjust the Tracking Speed.
Adjust the Framing Size.
4. Tap Save.
Manage Camera Position During a Call
You can control the position of a Polycom camera during or before a video call.
1. Select Camera or tap Menu and select Camera.
2. Select Near to adjust your camera or Far to adjust a call participant’s camera.
3. Do one of the following:
Use the onscreen arrows to adjust the camera position.
Drag your finger across the onscreen video stream to adjust the camera position.
Tap the onscreen video stream to move the camera to that position.
Tap the plus sign to zoom the camera in or tap the minus
- sign to zoom the camera out.
Move the slider to zoom the camera in or out.
4. Click Back when finished.
