Modify the Backlight Maximum Intensity
While in the Backlight Intensity setting screen:
1. Tap the Maximum Intensity option.
2. Tap Up (increase) or Down (decrease), or drag your finger along the slider to increase or decrease
the maximum intensity.
3. Tap Back when finished to return and make changes to other Backlight settings, or
Exit.
Modify the Backlight Idle Intensity
While in the Backlight Intensity setting screen:
1. Tap Backlight Idle.
2. Choose the desired intensity setting. (The default Idle intensity setting is Low)
3. Tap Back when finished to return and make changes to other Backlight settings, or
Exit.
Modify the Backlight Timeout Setting
1. Navigate to Settings > Basic > Backlight Timeout
2. Select the number of seconds the system is idle before the backlight dims. (The default is 40
seconds)
3. Tap Back when finished, or
Exit.
Manage Power-Saving Mode
By default, the system turns off the screen to conserve energy after it has been idle for a pre-defined
amount of time. Power-Saving Mode Timeout settings may be modified and/or configured to use different
idle timeouts for office and off hours.
Modify Office Hours
The day/hour of the starting time and the duration of Office Hours may be defined for the system:
For Start Time:
1. Navigate to Settings > Basic > Power Saving > Office Hours
2. Tap the Start Hour option.
3. Select a day of the week.
4. Enter a start time using the 24-hour clock from 0 to 23.
5. Select Save and tap Back to make more changes, or Exit.
For Duration:
1. Navigate to Settings > Basic > Power Saving > Office Hours
2. Tap the Duration option.
3. Select a day of the week.
4. Enter a duration from 0 to 12 hours per day.
5. Select Save.
