A.5.4.3 Cabling
To cable the test stand, proceed as follows (refer to the following figure):
1. Plug the X2 cable into the circular jack [1] of the hand set.

2. Plug the X1 cable into the Handschalter/handset 5-pin circular jack [2].
3. Plug the X3 cable into the Eingang/Input 5-pin circular jack [3].
4. Plug the cable of the telescope drive into the 5-pin circular jack [4] of the
drive control.
5. Connect up the mains cable of the drive control to the circular jack [1] and
to an earthed wall outlet.
A.5.4.4 Operating
CAUTION!
Danger of crushing or damage caused by careless handling! Do not bring any parts of
the body in the operating range of the vertical test stand while it is in movement. Always
watch the distance between scanning head and test sample to avoid damaging the test
sample!
Moving the
scanning head
You can move the scanning head with the aid of the telescope drive:
•
Move the scanning head upwards by pressing the ↑ arrow key on the hand
set.
•
Move the scanning head downwards by pressing the ↓ arrow key on the
hand set.
NOTE!
To avoid overheating, the test stand switches off automatically after 1.5 minutes of operation.
