Caution!
High water pressure can result in damages to property and machine. Please make sure
the water pressure does not exceed 200 kPa (2 bar).
4.3.1 Fixed water connection and tank mode on/off
To change the type of water connection, please follow these steps:
1. Press the left button and the right button simultaneously, “Brew
Temperature” will appear on the display.
2. Press the left button until ”Advanced User Settings“ is displayed.
Press the right button to enter the menu.
3. You now have the option to choose between “ON” and “OFF”. The
selection will be conrmed after 5 seconds. Additional settings will
now be displayed in the menu.
4. Press the left button until ”Tank Mode“ is displayed. Press the right
button to enter the menu.
5. You can now choose between “ON” (Tank Mode) and “OFF” (xed water
connection by perssing the left button. The selection will be conrmed
after 5 seconds
Please follow all the step described in chapter 4.3 to switch the water supply.
4.3.2 Machine in operation with direct water connection
Connect the water supply hose to the water connection nozzle underneath the machine and tighten it
(see Figure 1).
Always use the hose provided with the machine to connect it to the water supply network, even if there
is an existing old hose.
When operating the machine with a xed water connection, turn the rotary valve under the machine in
the direction opposite to the water connections nozzle (see image 1). The water connection nozzle is
located in the rear area of the nase plate (see gure 1). Additionally, in the menu, set the “Tank Mode”
Option to “OFF” (see gure 2) to deactivate the water tank operation and switch the espresso machine’s
electronics to xed water operation. Please follow points 4.3.1 and 9.1 for this. Before use, make sure
that the shut-off valve at your water connection is open during machine operation and closed when
not in use.
