14. TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Possible Cause Troubleshooting
Display:
The espresso boiler must be
lled
Follow the instructions for initial
operation in chapters 5.1 and
5.2.
First use with water tank: pump
noise - the boiler is not lled
The system is completely dry;
the pump cannot deliver the
water.
Connect the machine to the
water supply for initial lling
(see chapter 4.3.1) to ll the
boiler with the line pressure.
Sparse coffee dispensing,
only drop by drop
The grind is too ne
Use a coarser grind.
Tamp ground coffee only
slightly.
Brewing-pressure too low Increase the brewing-pressure.
There is too much ground
coffee
Use the right coffee amount
(The marking inside the lter
basket can help you nd the
right amount of coffee).
“Flow Control“ is completely
closed
Open “Flow Control“.
