The cleaning is done using the supplied blind lter as follows:
1. Heat up the machine.
2. Clean the group gasket and the shower screen with the provided brush.
3. Place the blind lter into the portalter.
4. Put approx. 3 - 5g of the group cleaning powder into the blind lter.
5. Insert the portalter into the brew group.
6. Operate the group lever. The blind lter will ll with water.
7. Let the cleaner react, moving the group lever into the halfway position, approx. 45°. (Do not move it
into the lower position.)
8. Move the lever into the lower position after approx. 20 seconds. This way, the fats and oils can be
discharged by the infusion cylinder.
9. Repeat points 5-7 several times, until only clear water is discharged by the infusion cylinder.
10. Rinse the portalter and the blind lter with fresh water. Then replace it.
11. Operate the group lever for approx. 40 seconds. Then move it back into the lower position.
12. Remove the portalter and repeat point 10. After this, the brew group is ready for use.
13. Place the lter for 1 or 2 cups into the portalter.
To stow away the blind lter, you will nd under the drip tray, at the
rear left, a mounting bracket therefore
If you have set the cleaning mode, the cleaning reminder symbol disappears from the
display after the reset (see chapter 7.9). The counter starts counting until the next notice
for cleaning the brew group.
If you clean the brew group to often with cleaner, it may start squeaking. Don´t clean it to
often with cleaner, you will degrease all the moving parts and they will wear out quickly.
It´s better if you clean the brew group from time to time without cleaner.
10.3 Maintenance
Caution!
Make sure that the machine is disconnected from the mains during maintenance and
when replacing individual parts.
Austausch der Gruppendichtung
1. Switch off the machine (the LED no longer lights up) and disconnect the mains plug.
2. Let the machine cool down to room temperature.
