2 Connecting The Router
2.1 System Requirement
In order to setup PRC3801 you would need to ensure the following item in the list is available.
• Broadband Internet Access (DSL, Ethernet).
• Ethernet Cable with RJ45 connector at both end.
• Computer equip with Ethernet Network adapter RJ45 (10Base-T/100Base-TX/1000Base-TX).
• Wireless Network Adapter capability IEEE802.11a/b/g/n/ac.
• Web Browser (Internet Explore, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari)
2.2 Router Positioning
Precaution and preparation step before setup PRC3801:
• Place the PRC3801 in well ventilated place and avoid from exposed to moisture or excessive
heat.
• Avoid from placing PRC3801 near from strong electromagnetic reference, such as microwaves.
• Place PRC3801 where it can be connected to multiple client and power source to ease the
installation work.
• Ensure to use a wired connection during setup process to avoid any possible setup problems.
