PROLiNK® PRC3801 Wireless AC1200 MU-MIMO Dual-Band Gigabit Router
Password: Enter the Password provided by your ISP.
Connection Type: Select either Continuous, Connect on Demand, or Manual.
Idle Time: Enter a maximum idle time during which the Internet connection is maintained
during inactivity. To disable this feature, select connection type either as “Continuous” or
“Connect on Demand”.
MTU Size: Known as Maximum Transmission Unit. By default this field will be set to Auto.
Select Manual if you need to change the MTU for optimal performance.
Request MPPE Encryption: Know as Microsoft Point-to-Point Encryption. Enable the MPPE
to provides data security for the PPTP connection that is between the VPN client and the VPN
server.
Request MPPC Compression: Knows as Microsoft Point-to-Point Compression. Check the
box to enable the MPPC Compression.
DNS: DNS by default is set to “AUTO” unless specific by your ISP to enter specific DNS
Server then check the “Manual” box.
Primary DNS Server: Enter the Primary DNS Server IP address assigned by your ISP.
Secondary DNS Server: Enter the Secondary DNS Server IP address assigned by your ISP.
MAC Address (Optional): The default MAC address is set to the Internet port’s physical
interface MAC address on the router. You can use “CLONE MAC” button to replace the
Internet port’s MAC address with the MAC address of a connected client.
