Recommended safe distances between portable and mobile
RF telecommunication equipment and the MPR2
The MPR2 is intended for use in an electromagnetic environment in which RF interference is controlled.
The customer or user of the MPR2 can help to avoid e
lectromagnetic interference by maintaining the
minimum distance between portable and mobile RF telecommunication equipment (emitters) and the
MPR2 - dependent on the output power of the communication device as specified below.

For emitters, whose maximum rated power is not specified in the above table, the recommended safe
distance d (m), can be calculated using the equation, which is relevant for the corresponding column,
where P is the maximum rated power of
the emitter in watts (W) as specified by the manufacturer of the
emitter.
At 80 MHz and 800 MHz the higher frequency range applies.
These guidelines may not be applicable in all cases. The propagation of electromagnetic waves is
influenced by their absorption and reflection by buildings, objects and people.
