Routesareusedtoplanyourjourneyinadvance.Y oucanplanyourjourney
directlyonyourdisplay,orathomeusingsoftwarecapableofexporting
waypointsandroutesinstandard.gpxformat.
Routesconsistofanumberofwaypoints.Y ourdisplaycanstoreupto50
routes,eachrouteconsistingofupto250waypoints.Whencreatingroutes
theroutecapacityissubjecttothedisplay’s5,000waypointlimit(e.g.:your
displaycouldstore20routeseachcontaining250waypoints).
Tonavigateasavedroute,placethecursorovertherouteandpressthe[OK]
button,thenselect[Followroute]fromthecontextmenu.
Routescanbeimportedandexportedfromthedisplay.Formoreinformation,

CreatingaRoute
Followthestepsbelowtobuildanewroute
RoutescanbecreatedintheChartapp.
Important:
Beforefollowingaroute ,youmustensurethateachwaypointandlegof
yourrouteissafeforyourvesseltonavigate.
1.Selectthelocationforthefirstwaypoint.
2.Select[Buildroute]fromthecontextmenu.
3.Selectthelocationforthesecondwaypoint.
The2waypointswillbejoinedbyaline,creatingthefirstlegofyourroute.
4.Selectthelocationforthesubsequentwaypoints,requiredtocomplete
yourroute.
5.Whenyourrouteiscompletepressandholdthe[OK]buttonandthen
select[Finishbuild]fromthecontextmenu.
Thefinishroutebuildnotificationisdisplayed.
6.Fromthenotificationyoucaneither:
•Select[Follow]toimmediatelystartfollowingtheroute,or
•Select[Followinreverse]tofollowtherouteinreversewaypointorder,
or
•Select[Routeplan]toviewtherouteplanmenu,or
•Select[Exit]toreturntotheChartapp.
Note:
Youcanpressthe[Back]buttonatanytimeduringroutebuildingtoremove
thelastwaypointyouplaced.
