simultaneously.
Chartorientation
Theorientationofthechartaffectsthealignmentofthechartrelativeto
eitheryourvesselheading,yourcourseorNorth.

Asyourvessel’sheadingchanges,thevesseliconrotatesaccordingly.

Theboatpositiondeterminesthepositionofthevesselicononscreen.Y our
boatpositioncanonlybechangedwhenthe[Chartmotion]settingissetto
[Relativemotion].Y oucanchangethepositionofthevesselicontoprovidea
greaterdistanceinfrontofyourvessel.
