WhilstbuildingarouteyoucanuseAutoroutingtoautomaticallyaddaroute
legtoarouteyouhavealreadystartedtocreate.TheAutoroutingfeatures
requirecompatiblecartography.
1.Pressandholdanywhereonscreenandselecteither[Autoroutetowpt]
or[Autoroutetohere].
Selecting[Autoroutetowpt]willallowyoutoselectawaypointfromyour
Waypointslisttoincludeinyourroute,selecting[Autoroutetohere]will
createaroutelegtothecursor’scurrentposition.
OnceanAutorouteleghasbeenaddedyoucanselect[Finishroutebuild]or
addfurthermanualorautorouteroutelegs.
Autorouting
Autoroutingisavailablewhenusingcompatiblecartography.Autorouting
allowsyoutobuildarouteautomaticallybetweenapointonthechartand
yourvessel.
Selecting[A utoroutetohere]fromthechartcontextmenu,orselecting
[Autorouteto]fromanexistingwaypoint’scontextmenuwillcreatearoute
automaticallybetweenyourvesselandthechosenpoint.
Thecreatedrouteisgeneratedbycomparingdataavailableonyour
cartographyagainsttheminimumsafedistancesspecifiedinthe[Boat
details]menu:([Homescreen>Settings>Boatdetails]).
Waypointswillnotbeplacedinareasthatconflictwithyourspecified
minimumsafedistances.Cautionsymbolsareusedforwaypointsthatare
nearobjectsorrestrictedareas.
