With this knife form it is possible to attach an opening aid to the packages.

It is only possible to install knives of the same thickness into the knife
assembly. If you, for example, would like to change a “straight” toothed
knife against a “zigzag” knife, you have to change the complete top
half assembly and the counter pressure plate
