0: Disabled 1: Enabled
0: Prevents dialing from the ten-key pad while the external
telephone is off-hook. Use this setting when the external
telephone is not by the machine, or if a wireless telephone
is connected as an external telephone.
1: The user can dial on the machine’s ten-key pad when
the handset is off-hook.

0: On hook dial is disabled.

Action when the external handset
goes off-hook
0: Manual tx and rx operation
1: Memory tx and rx operation (the
display remains the same)
0: Manual tx and rx are possible while the external handset
is off-hook. However, memory tx is not possible.
1: The display stays in standby mode even when the
external handset is used, so that other people can use the
machine for memory tx operation.
Note that manual tx and rx are not possible with this setting.
