The media feeding surface is hot while the heater is heated. When opening the center cover or
replacing media, lower the temperature of the heater and make sure the temperature of the media
feeding surface has lowered sufficiently before working.
When replacing thin media, lower the temperature of the heater. If replacing media when the
media feeding surface is hot, it may cause the media to affix to the feeding surface as well as
wrinkles or warping to occur.
