4.5 Installaon opons A–F for output shas
4.5.1 Basic output shas (BOS)
Installaon opons A–F show the (most) used connecons (chain couplings/universal joints) of basic
output shafts (BOS) to operated systems.
* M8 and M10 bolts with lock nuts (and related ghtening torque) are recommended for the
applicable conguraon.
** D is supplied as two parts (chain, chain connector).

informaon on item numbers and models refer to the Ridder catalog or website at ridder.com.
4.5.2 Special output-shas (D, LD, LK ....)
Installaon opons A–F are (possibly) also applicable, if necessary for the operated system, for
models such as D, LD or LK (or other designaons).
NOTE: Make sure that the conguraon, together with the operated system, agrees with §1.3
“Warning about discouraged use” and §3.3 “Applicaon” (intended use). Possibly approval
from Ridder Drive Systems is necessary.
