9. SERVICE
If necessary remove covers to do the work. Refer to chapter 5.
For safe and correct servicing, read the (applicable) secons of:
• Chapter 2, chapter 6, chapter 7 and chapter 10.
Always put removed covers back aer the work! Refer to the end of chapter 7.
9.1 Troubleshoong
Troubleshoong is only permied to approved personnel. This secon tells about possible
malfuncons and their soluons. If a malfuncon is not in the list that follows, contact your supplier.
Malfuncon 1 The motor gearbox does not turn while the electric motor (EM) is in operaon.
Observaon 1 The electric motor (EM) turns, while the output shas of the gearbox do not turn.
Cause 1 The motor gearbox is mechanically defecve.
Soluon 1 Remove the electric motor (EM). Do a check of the sha key and replace it if
defecve. If the sha key is not defecve, then replace the gearbox.
Malfuncon 2 The direcon-of-rotaon of the motor gearbox is not correct.
Observaon 2 The output shas turn in the incorrect direcon.
Cause 1 The connecons on the terminal block of the electric motor are not correct.
Soluon 1 RLS: Interchange the connecons V1 and W1 on the terminal block.
RSU: Interchange the connecons V1 and W2 on the terminal block.
Malfuncon 3 The switching sense of the limit-switch system is not correct.
Observaon 3 When the system turns to an end posion (A or B), the limit-switch system turns in
the direcon of the opposite duty switch.
Cause 1 The connecons on the connecon block/connecon blocks of the limit-switch
system are not correct.
Soluon 1 RLS: Interchange the connecons 1 and 5 on the connecon blocks.
RSU: Interchange the connecons 1 and 7 on the connecon block.
