Thermal protecon/Temperature
3-wire electric motors are thermally protected with a built-in PTO switch. If the motor temperature
becomes higher than 140 °C the system stops. When the motor temperature decreases to less than
140 °C the system automacally starts again.

SAFETY STOP
The motor can start and stop automacally without a warning but
will stay energized. De-energize the system during work on the drive
unit or the system. Persons can be in danger of life if they touch a
system that is in operaon.
A drive unit can get high temperatures. If necessary take protecve
precauons to prevent injuries.
The waing me must be approximately 2 seconds when you change
the direcon-of-rotaon. The electric motor must stop.
This prevents that it connues in the inial direcon.
When a “safety stop” (safety switch) occurs:
Do a check of the condition of the operated system.
Make sure that the system can be safely operated.
Do a check of the condition of the limit-switch system (adjusting
screw --> switching spring).
Make sure that the system can be safely operated.
If necessary:
Adjust the end positions again.
This prevents damage or injury.
