Analyzing samples
Interpreting the instrument
status buttons
Icon Meaning Possible action
The reagents are OK. No action is required.
There is no disk on board. Load a disk.
Fewer than 10% of tests are left for
a reagent set, or its expiration date
has passed.
Load a new reagent set.
A reagent set is not complete or a
reagent is empty.
Complete the reagent set or
replace it.
A reagent set is blocked because it
requires calibration or mixing.
Perform calibration or mixing.
The disk could not be identified. Remove the disk and make sure
that one and only one ID tab is
removed. Reinsert the disk.
There is more than one segment
available.
No action is required.
The last available segment is in
use.
Replace the used cuvette segments
as soon as possible.
There are no empty cuvettes avail-
able.
Replace the cuvette segments.
System
Status
The system status button displays both the icon and the color of one of the
buttons of the underlying system status screen. (The icons are first prioritized
by color, first priority being red, followed by yellow and green, and then
according to the sequence in which they are listed below.)
Analyzer (main cover) Press the button and, on the Sys-
tem Status screen, check the text
about the status of the main cover.
Reagent cooler and cuvette ring
temperature
Press the button and, on the Sys-
tem Status screen, check the text
about the temperature.
Sample area ventilation Press the button and, on the Sys-
tem Status screen, check the text
about the ventilation status.
External fluid containers Press the button and, on the Sys-
tem Status screen, press it again to
display the screen for handling the
external fluid containers.
Maintenance Press the button and, on the Sys-
tem Status screen, press it again to
display the maintenance actions
list.
Printer Press the button and, on the Sys-
tem Status screen, check the text
about the printer status.
