1.2 Information on use
The device is designed as a site-specific measuring tool and is used to determine important ophthalmic
optical parameters required for individual lens production.
With the patented 3D video centering system, you can quickly and reliably measure your customers in their
habitual head and body posture. No additional measuring attachment is required. Thanks to the stereo
camera system, all values are determined simultaneously with only one recording:
• (Inter-)Pupillary distance monocular (PD)
• Cornea Vertex Distance (CVD)
• Face Form Angle (FFA)
• Pantoscopic tilt (PT)
• Centering data and box dimensions
• Lens shape
1.3 Scope of application of the documents
This manual contains information on the proper use, storage and maintenance of the ImpressionIST® 4+, as well
as important safety-related information. The ImpressionIST® 4+ is available as a stand-alone and wall-mounted
version. It is recommended to operate the device with a touch monitor (sold separately if necessary) with at least
Full HD resolution.
