Press SIGNAL GEN to open the "Generator/Signaling Controller".

Expand a measurement/generator/signaling application and select/clear the "Task-
bar entry" checkbox.
Selected items are added to the task bar, cleared items are removed.
3.1.6 Using the Soft-Front Panel and Keyboard Shortcuts
The keys on the soft-front panel provide access to the utility dialogs of the Graphical User
Interface (GUI) and to the task bar. Moreover they can be used for measurement, gen-
erator and signaling generator control. Each key on the soft-front panel has an equivalent
keyboard shortcut.
To access the soft-front panel:

Use a remote desktop connection or an external monitor to display the GUI of your
R&S CMW500.
The hardkey symbols are displayed to the right of the diagram area.
