5.3 Setup Dialog
The "Setup" dialog helps you perform various basic and administrative tasks. To open
the dialog press SETUP.
The "Setup" dialog is subdivided into the following sections:

"System" - defines the overall appearance of the dialogs and address information for
remote control.
●
"Remote" - lists all available interface and protocol types for remote control and their
parameters.
●
"License Keys" - lists licenses and activates or deactivates options using a key code.
●
"SW/HW Equipment" - shows the software and hardware equipment of the R&S
CMW500.
●
"Maintenance" - provides selftest capabilities of the R&S CMW500.
●
"Misc" - provides access e.g. to reference frequency settings (internal or external
reference) and external trigger settings.
SCPI commands: Most of the commands belong to the SYSTem... SCPI subsystem.
5.3.1 System Settings
The "System" section of the "Setup" dialog defines the overall appearance of the dialogs,
address information for remote control and settings for remote software update.
To open the dialog press SETUP and select "System".
