INPut<ip>:ATTenuation:AUTO <State>
This command couples or decouples the attenuation to the reference level. Thus, when
the reference level is changed, the R&S FSWP determines the signal level for optimal
internal data processing and sets the required attenuation accordingly.

Parameters:
<State> ON | OFF | 0 | 1
*RST: 1
Example:
INP:ATT:AUTO ON
Couples the attenuation to the reference level.
Manual operation: See " Attenuation Mode / Value " on page 50
INPut<ip>:ATTenuation:AUTO:MODE <OptMode>
Selects the priority for signal processing after the RF attenuation has been applied.

Parameters:
<OptMode> LNOise | LDIStortion
LNOise
Optimized for high sensitivity and low noise levels
LDIStortion
Optimized for low distortion by avoiding intermodulation
*RST: LDIStortion
Example:
INP:ATT:AUTO:MODE LNO

INPut<ip>:GAIN:STATe <State>
This command turns the internal preamplifier on and off. It requires the optional pream-
plifier hardware.
The preamplification value is defined using the INPut<ip>:GAIN[:VALue]
on page 115.
