Drying the Trailing Edge of the Prinng Area on the Dryer (When Only Prinng)
To dry the ink thoroughly, congure the sengs so that the media is fed unl the trailing edge of the printed area
is put on the dryer aer the prinng is nished. This seng applies to output data designed only for prinng.
Procedure
1. Press [MENU].
2. Press [▼] several mes to display the screen shown below.

3. Press [▶] twice to display the screen shown below.

4. Press [▶] to display the screen shown below.

DISABLE ENABLE
5. Press [▲] or [▼] to select "ENABLE" or "DISABLE".
"ENABLE" Media feed is performed unl the trailing edge of the prinng area is posioned on the dryer. The
margin between the print-end posion and the next print-start posion is set to a value of 100 mm
(3.9 in.) when [OPTION DRYER] is set to "DISABLE" and 280 mm (11.1 in.) when it is set to "ENABLE".

"DISABLE" Media feed stops when prinng ends. This means that the trailing edge of the prinng area is not fed
to the dryer unless you connue with a subsequent prinng operaon.
6. Press [ENTER] to conrm your entry.
7. Press [MENU] to go back to the original screen.
