Display Screen This displays various seng me-
nus and other informaon.
Sub power switch This switches the printer on and
o. (To switch the printer o, hold
down the switch for one second
or longer). The light ashes slow-
ly when the machine is in sleep
mode.
ENTER ENTER key Use this for such tasks as ena-
bling seng values.

MENU MENU key Press this to enter the menus for
various sengs.

FUNCTION FUNCTION key You press this when entering the
seng menu for cleaning of the
print heads, prinng tests, and so
on.

PAUSE PAUSE key This pauses the prinng opera-
on. It lights when operaon is
paused.

Cursor keys Use these to select sengs for
menu items, to move the media,
and for other such operaons.

BUSY BUSY light This lamp lights up during print-
ing and other such operaons.

SETUP SETUP light This lights when media has been
loaded correctly.

BASE BASE POINT light This lights when the base point
(the output-start locaon) has
been set.

HEATER HEATER light This ashes while the media
heang system is warming up. It
stays lit when the set tempera-
ture is reached.
