Is the LAN roung appropriate?
Check whether or not the network roung is appropriate. Try connecng the computer and the machine to the
same hub or connecng them directly using a cable. If this makes it possible to perform output, it means the prob-
lem may be in the network itself.
Are the LAN sengs correct?
If the cable connecons are secure and no problem is found in the network itself, make sure that the IP address
and other such sengs are appropriate. The sengs on both the machine and the computer must be appropriate.
Redo the sengs, checking to ensure that the IP address does not conict with the IP address for another device
on the network, that the port seng for the soware RIP species the IP address set on the machine, that the
sengs have no typing errors, and for other such problems.

When the screen shown in the gure is displayed, output data cannot be accepted. The error can be resolved by
replacing the ink pouch with a new one. If there is data that has not yet been output remaining in the machine,
output resumes. If there is unsent data in the computer, output resumes when the data is resent.
