Replacing the Wiper and the Tray Pad
The wipers and the tray pads are components that are used for cleaning the print heads.
When the following screen is displayed, it is me to replace the wiper.

Be sure to perform operaons as specied by the instrucons, and never touch any area
not specied in the instrucons.
Otherwise sudden movement of the machine may cause injury.
Required items
Wipers Tray pad Tweezers
Procedure
1. Press [ENTER] when the following screen appears.

2. Remove any media.
3. Press [MENU].
4. Press [▼] several mes to display the screen shown below.

5. Press [▶] once, and then press [▼] several mes to display the screen shown below.

6. Press [▶] to display the screen shown below.

7. Press [ENTER].
The cung carriage moves to a locaon where wiper replacement is possible, and then the screen shown
below appears.
