5.1.5) Inspection and adjustment of “squish gap”
Perform inspection and adjustment of the “squish gap” according to the latest Repair Manual of the
respective engine type. See www.rotax-kart.com
5.2) INSTALLATION OF THE IGNITION SYSTEM
5.2.1) Spark plug
 Note: Following spark plugs are declassified by BRP-Powertrain:
Denso IW 24-31, as standard a Denso IW 27 is installed.
 Fit spark plug by hand and tighten to 27 Nm (239 in.lb).

5.2.2) Ignition coil
 Fasten the ignition coil together with the ground cable using 4 hex. nuts.
Tightening torque 10 Nm (90 in.lb)
 Install the spark plug connector.
