6.6. Noise reduction
To reduce random noise caused by interference between scattered lights, there
is an averaging function for multiple measurement data and a smoothing filter
(Gaussian filter) function.
To add and average multiple measurements, select the "Continuous Averaging"
check box, enter the number of times to average in "Count", and click the "Save"
button to set it. (Figure 6-19)
Click the "Continuous" button to display a graph of the reflected properties
added and averaged by measuring. The number of averages is displayed in the
upper left. (Figure 6-20)
