6.11. Display of wavelength-dependent characteristics of return loss
Displays the wavelength-dependent characteristics of the return loss. A more
accurate wavelength dependence is calculated by using only the data near the
return loss point to be displayed.
1. Set the wavelength resolution to be measured in “WDL resolution [pm]” in
theAdvanced Settingstab of “OFDR Settings.

2. Select “Set RL1 and WDL Regionfrom the right-click menu on the upper
graph, and select a range of approximately ±5 mm from the peak. The
selected area becomes the area used for calculations. The spread of the
peak varies depending on the sample, so adjust so that the entire peak is
included. Please refer to "6.8. Return loss, insertion loss" for region
selection.
