6.8. Calculation of return loss and insertion loss (using manual settings)
6.8.1. Set the range from the graph.
This section explains the calculation of return loss (RL) and insertion loss (IL) in
any region. This function sets the calculation area individually for any reflection
point and calculates RL and IL. Calculate using the graph above.
1. Zoom the area near the peak of the reflection point for which you want
to calculate insertion loss.
2. Right-click on the graph and select “Set RL1 and WDL Region” from the
menu that appears.
