9. Maintenance & Storage
9.1 Daily Maintenance
To clean this product, turn off the power, unplug the power cord, and gently wipe
it off with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use chemicals (acetone, alcohol, liquid
cleaners) as they may damage the coating.
9.2 Cleaning the optical connectors
If the end face of the optical connector is dirty or dirt is attached to the optical
fiber when the optical fiber is connected, unnecessary reflection peaks may occur
in the measurement results or cause loss. It may also cause end scratches that
cannot be removed, so it is recommended to clean it regularly.
Cleaning methods
1. Clean the optical connector of the main unit using a commercially available
connector cleaner.
2. Be sure to clean the end face of the optical fiber to be connected with a
connector cleaner before connecting.
9.3 Replacing fuses
To replace the fuse, use a fuse that matches the power supply voltage and
current. The fuse is located in the fuse box located above the power socket on the
rear panel. Pull out and replace the fuse. Use two time-lagged T3.15AL/250V
fuses (common to 100 - 120 / 200 - 240V). if you want to replace both of them
with new ones
