The eight different remote control codes (Code 1–Code 8)
are assigned to the projector; the factory-set, initial code
(Code1)andtheothersevencodes(Code2toCode8).
The same code should set on both the projector and the
remote control. For example, operating the projector in
Code 7, the remotecontrol code alsomust beswitchedto
Code 7.
To change the code for the projector
SelectaremotecontrolcodeinthisSettingMenu.
To change the code for the remote control:
While holding down the MENU button, press the IMAGE
button the number of times corresponding to the remote
controlcodefortheprojector.See“Remote Control Code”
onpage13.

Selectthelampoperationwhenthetotallightingtimeofa
lampexceedstherecommendedtotalhoursofuse.
Mode 1.............. Thelampcanbeturnedonevenafter
exceedingtherecommendedtotal
hoursofuse.
Mode 2.............. Thelampcanbeturnedonevenafter
exceedingtherecommendedtotal
hoursofuse.Buttheprojectorturnsoff
automaticallyafter3minutes.

•Lampmodecannotbechangedforawhileafterturning
ontheprojector.Lampneedssometimetostabilizeafter
thepoweristurnedon.Storedlampmodewillbeactive
afterthelampisstabilized.
•IfMode 2hasbeenselectedandtheprojectionlamp
exceedstherecommendedtotalhoursofuse,the
replacementiconwillbedisplayedatthetimeofpower-
on.Thentheprojectorwillturnoffafter3minutes.
•TheLampreplacementiconwillnotappearwhenthe
DisplayfunctionissettoOff(p.48),during"Freeze"(p.27),
or"Noshow"(p.28).
Note:
•Whendifferentcodesaresetontheprojectorandontheremotecontrol,anyoperationcannotbemade.In
thatcase,switchthecodeontheremotecontroltofitthecodeontheprojector.
•Ifthebatteriesareremovedfromtheremotecontrolforalongperiodoftime,theremotecontrolcodewill
bereset.
